Arbutus Dental is now a Sun Life‑approved provider under the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), launched December 2023 by Health Canada. Whether you’re looking for routine cleanings, crowns, dentures, or root canals, we can bill CDCP directly—no upfront payment on covered services.

Who Is Eligible for CDCP?
- Canadian residents with adjusted family net income under $90,000
- Must not have private dental insurance
Who Can Apply & When for the CDCP?

How Much Will It Cost?
If family net income is:
- Under $70,000 → 100% of CDCP fee covered
- $70–79,999 → 60% covered (you pay 40%)
- $80–89,999 → 40% covered (you pay 60%)
Keep in mind:
- CDCP uses fixed fee schedule, and you pay any extra beyond that
- Pre‑approval required for some treatments (crowns, dentures, etc.)
