About Dr. Rowan Doyle
Dr. Doyle was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree (First Class Standing) in Biology and Human Ecology at the University of Alberta, and, following that, went on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (Magnum Cum Laude) at Boston University’s Dental School. While there, she received the prestigious Dr. Thomas Anderson Armstrong Award for exemplary professionalism and commitment to patient care. Dr. Doyle furthered her clinical education in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at a hospital residency in Dayton, Ohio where she treated retired military veterans.
Dr. Doyle believes it is important for patients to understand their treatment plan and feel listened to, as it leads to better long term dental health. She is certified in nitrous sedation, a wonderful option for patients with dental anxiety.
Dr. Doyle has a particular interest in aesthetic dentistry. She loves being able to incorporate science, technology and art to provide her patients with a fantastic smile. Her training with CEREC allows her to provide crowns in a single day and her implant experience expands the treatment options she can provide. She is a keen advocate for educating communities about dental health. She has travelled to underprivileged communities in the USA to provide dental care and to teach healthy oral habits. She hopes to participate in more dental mission trips, both locally and globally.
Outside her professional activities, Dr. Doyle enjoys hiking, kickboxing and travelling. If she’s not outside, she loves curling up on her couch with a good book, hot tea and some home-made pastries.
Dr. Doyle is excited to be part of the team at Arbutus North Dental Centre. She can’t wait to meet you!
