Dr. Neda Rafati, General Dentist

Dr. Neda Rafati achieved her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of British Columbia. She graduated from UBC Dentistry in 2010 and was on the dean’s honour list in addition to being part of the Golden Key Society.

Before joining Arbutus North Dental, Dr. Neda passionately cared for patients in the suburbs of Vancouver.

Karla-Brunel

Dr. Karla Brunel, General Dentist

Born and raised in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Dr. Karla Brunel earned a Bachelor of Science degree (Honours) in Biology and Psychology from Memorial University of Newfoundland. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia and received the Scholastic Book Canada award for academic achievement.

Dedicated to continuing education that helps her provide quality care to her patients, Dr. Brunel is a CEREC-trained dentist (meaning she can use modern digital technology to provide crowns in one appointment) and is a member of the British Columbia Dental Association, the Canadian Dental Association, and the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia.

Dr. Royce Yang, General Dentist

Dr. Royce Yang achieved his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of British Columbia and graduated with distinction. While at UBC Dentistry, he became an active member of the Tucker Conservation Gold Study Clube to further refine his clinic knowledge and skills.

Dr. Rojin Djavanmardi, General Dentist

Dr. Rojin attained her Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology and Nutrition, as well as Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at the University of British Columbia. During her time at UBC, she was involved in volunteerism and leadership roles and served as a Student Senator at the UBC Senate.

Dr. Scarlett Yoo, General Dentist

Dr. Scarlett Yoo grew up in Sydney, Australia and completed her dental degree in Griffith University in 2016. She practiced in Brisbane for several years before she decided to move to Canada. Dr. Scarlett settled in a small rural town of Deep River, Ontario where she enjoyed the kind hospitality and simplicity of a small town. She then relocated to Vancouver in 2023 to explore the beautiful British Colombia.

 

Dr. Scarlett comes from a Korean background and is fluent in Korean. As a life-long learner, she has taken hundreds of hours of continuing education course in order to provide the best dentistry to patients. Her motto is to treat every patient like her own family. Dr. Scarlett is extremely gentle and compassionate which helped alleviate patient’s dental anxiety. Dr. Scarlett is proficient in all aspects of general dentistry including but not limited to, cosmetic restoration, dentures, endodontic treatments, dental implants and Invisalign.
